Worms and Wine Tour September 26!

06 Sep

Gang, just a reminder and update about our fall tour.  We’ll be meeting at the Oshkosh Correctional Institute at 9:00 am on the 26th.  We’ll tour the Vermiculture Facility. This tour lasts approximately 2 hours.  Afterwards we’ll travel to the Kerrigan Brothers Winery in Freedom WI.  They have graciously agreed to allow us to have lunch and a brief business meeting.  After our lunch/meeting  they’ve offered to provide us with a tour of their wine making process.  That will take about two hours.  This tour may include wine sampling if you choose to do so.

Below is a rough timeline for the day:

9:00        Meet at Correctional Institute for tour

12:15      Arrive at Kerrigan Brothers Winery, Lunch, and Business meeting

 1:30       Wine Making tour

 3:30        Adourn

Remember to get your Birthday and full name to David Gundlach prior close of business on the 10th.  Our previous email said the 12th, but this has been bumped up by the prison.   This will provide the correctional institute with enough time to do background checks.  Also check the link on our website for the post dated July 27 for more information about the Vermiculture tour.  The correctional institute provides special instructions for passing the metal detectors.

I will provide maps and final directions mid week on or about Sept 19th.   Thanks a ton and please join us for this interesting day… who could beat worms and wine!?
